Guidelines for preparation of abstracts

Registration and membership for IERG is mandatory for all the Presenters and Participants.

Abstracts should be typed in 12 pt. Arial font, written in 250 words or less and structured into: a) Title in capital letters, b) Authors with presenting author underlined, c) Affiliations of all authors, d) Body of the abstract – divided into the following sub-headings: 1) Purpose, 2) Methods, 3) Results, 4) Conclusions.

After review of the number of abstracts received, selections for oral or poster presentations will be made.

A few travel fellowships are available for young researchers/trainees wanting to attend the meeting. Those eligible to apply are research fellows (JRF, SRF, PDF), residents and fellows in ophthalmology. Applications may be sent on plain paper, along with the complete biodata and a copy of the abstract to the address for communication overleaf. Travel fellowships will be announced during the meeting and the recipients will be reimbursed their travel expenses up to a maximum of 2000.
