Sai Naga Sri Harsha

Sai Naga Sri Harsha is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Design and Manufacturing and holds the position of Engineer in the Engineering Group SRUJANA Center for Innovation at the world renowned L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India since 2014. Sri Harsha did his Masters in CAD/CAM from VIT University, Vellore. He served at Center for Development of Advanced Computing (Govt, of Inida), Hyderabad for 2 years in the field for electronic enclosure design and manufacturing.

Primarily involved in his research project on Tele-ophthalmology using a Tele-ophthalmic Slit Lamp Biomicroscope, developed in association with Ophthalmic Biophysics Centre, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, USA, the goal of which is to connect all the centres of LVPEI network through tele-ophthalmology, so as to make eye care accessible to the remote rural population. As a part of his research he developed a test setup for analyzing the functional characteristics of Ahmed Glaucoma Valves. Apart from this he is also involved in Product development related to ophthalmology. His interests are in the areas of Corneal Biomechanics, Finite Element Modeling and computational solid mechanics.
