L V Prasad Eye Institute is managed by two not-for-profit trusts, the Hyderabad Eye Institute (HEI) and the Hyderabad Eye Research Foundation (HERF), which are registered under the Society
Act. While HEI oversees the activities of the eye hospital, HERF monitors all research programs pursued at LVPEI.
