International Council of Ophthalmology Residency Program Directors' Course 2010
The International Council of Ophthalmology is organizing a course for Residency Program Directors at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. This two-day event is scheduled for October 4-5, 2010.
The Residency Program Directors' Course is specifically aimed at the Head of the Department or the Residency/Postgraduate Program Coordinator, someone directly responsible for conducting ophthalmology postgraduate program at medical colleges and institutes recognized for DNB.
The Course is designed to improve the teaching and assessment skills of the participant, apart from providing an optimal training curriculum. This, we hope, will have a cascading effect, and be the catalyst for a positive change in the way ophthalmology is taught and practiced in India
The expert ICO Faculty will comprise of Drs Karl C Golnik (USA), Andrew Lee (USA), Gabriela Palis (Argentina), and Eduardo Mayorga (Argentina).
Registration is complimentary and will be limited to one representative from each residency program. The attached registration form could be completed and sent by email/fax/mail by August 31, 2010. Due to the interactive nature of the Course, the total number of participants is limited to 50. ICO/LVPEI will not be able to support travel or stay.
