From one of our short-term retina fellows

Pham Nguyen's Dream “With very great pleasure I like to confirm my safe return to South Germany as you can see me - a few days ago pictured - in front of the Albert Eistein statue in the middle of his birthplace resp. my working place Ulm (on the Danube).

Full of thanks for big help you all have given me during my stay, especially in the last in the month of March in Vizag. I confirm the success of the relevant trainings in Vitrectomy, f.i. Amotio-surgery, vitreo-retinal surgery, surgery in belt buckles, sclera buckles, severe proliferative diabetic retinopathies, endolasers, cryotheraphy, gas-and-oil endotamponades and especially handling with the flute needle, fluid-air exchange.

I remember very well the many, many trainings with Dr Avinash Pathengey, Dr Gaurav Yogesh Shah and the close supervision by Dr Merle Fernandes. You all have enabled me to perfect my medical skills during the short time, which was due to my normal obligations in the EYE CLINIC of this Bundeswehr Hospital .

Please let us stay in any kind of professional contact. Repeating my gratitude for the great assistance from you. I like to end my letter with the hope to meet you very soon and to work with you again in the same way of mutual understanding in our valuable medical profession.

Dr Patricia Virginia Schwacha, Ulm , Germany
