LVPEI's first secondary centre, Bhosle Gopal Rao Patil Eye Centre at Mudhole, celebrated its 22nd anniversary on 20 December 2018. The key dignitaries present included Mr Bhosle Nayanrao Patil, Ex MLA and the key donor of the centre; Mr Venkteshwarlu, Project director for DRDO; Dr Suresh, Ophthalmologist and Chief Superintendent of Area Hospital Nirmal; and Dr U Kashinath, Superintendent of Area Hospital Bhainsa.
