LVPEI's Academy for Eye Care Education celebrated its 5th Education Day on 8 December 2018 at the Institute's Brien Holden Institute of Optometry and Vision Sciences campus at Kismpatpur. Graduation certificates were awarded to around 246 trainees comprising Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Vision Technicians, Ophthalmic Nursing Assistants and graduates from Diploma in Eye Health Management and Diploma in Community Eye Health. Professor Uday B Desai, Founding Director of the Indian Institute of Technology at Hyderabad, was the keynote speaker.
