Satellite centres’ anniversaries |

The 10th anniversary of our 3rd satellite centre, Venkata Lakshmi Eye Centre in Karamchedu, was celebrated on June 7, 2012. The centre was established with the support of Dr D Rama Naidu. Mr Mohan Babu from the donor family and Mr Srinivas (Pedanandipadu Vision Centre donor) graced the occasion, as well as Sri Paramananda Swamy, our patient and guru, local MRO Mr Prasad Rao and LVPEI Hyderabad team – Dr Padmaja K Rani, Dr Giridhar Pyda and Mr S Babu Rao. In 10 years, the centre has seen approx 87,000 outpatients and performed about 11,700 surgeries, 72% of them at no cost. An additional 100,000 patients have been screened at the 10 Vision Centres attached to it.
