Patient Testimonial

My 11 month old son Achintya has CVI (Cortical Visual Impairment) and gets easily overwhelmed in public spaces. When we took him to the mobility & sensory garden at LVPEI Vijayawada, to our surprise he started to enjoy the experience. He reached out to explore the different textures available in the garden. Next time, if he is able to walk, I would want him to explore the sand pit, the boat and the plants. I compliment the team that designed and implemented the garden.

Take care of your eyes during summer

Heavy dose of ultraviolet rays during summer can be harmful to the eyes in several ways. These can lead to the formation of pterygium (a layer) on the surface of the eye, cataract, retina problems etc. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight unless essential, during peak time of heat i.e. 10am to 2pm when the UV rays are at their strongest.
