The ISCEV Olympics comprised the vigorous ‘kho-kho’, a high-pitched conch blowing competition, and sari (ladies) and dhoti (gentlemen) tying contests. A visit to the Ramoji Film City, the Golconda fort, Gandipet Lake, a ‘holi’ playing session and a dance ballet performance were other highlights. A grand gala dinner brought the curtain down on a very satisfying week of hard scientific sessions coupled with evenings full of warmth and fun.
