The Dr P R K Prasad Centre for Rehabilitation of Blind and Visually Impaired
is managed by a team of trained low vision and rehabilitation professionals who
use a combination of instruction, training, and counselling to help people with
low vision.
Children below 15 years of age are referred to the
Children's Rehabilitation Centre for the Early Intervention programme (if they
are infants), or directed further for educational training to prepare them for
the mainstream educational system.
College students have access
to the special educational resource materials available at the rehabilitation
centre.
