LVPEI and Rehabilitation
LVPEI's vision rehabilitation programme echoes the organization's mission to make high quality eye care services accessible to all those who need it. The Institute's Vision Rehabilitation Centres, in line with the
VISION 2020: Right to Sight global programme, have undertaken a major initiative to tackle the problem of low vision, with special focus on children and underprivileged groups.
The Institute is part of a global collaborative network, which provides a variety of
services including,
- Clinical Services,
- Professional
Training, and
- Research and
Development
in the areas of blindness prevention and low vision, and advocacy.
We are linked to international organizations such as the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness and
Lighthouse International who work closely with us to help us
fulfill our mission.
