The Institute has dedicated laboratories for microbiology, molecular genetics, pathology, and serology, and a surgical wet laboratory. These laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and have received national awards recognizing the high level of services offer.
The research at these laboratories has led to several conference presentations and publications in national and international journals.
As part of the
fellowship, all fellows spend time in the
operating room, first as observers, then as an
assisting consultant in the surgery. Thereafter
they undertake the surgery under the supervision
of a consultant. And finally they conduct
