LVPEI's
Barwale Mathoshri Library caters to the requirements of the medical faculty, students and staff at the Institute. It houses a good collection of print and non-print material, which includes 65 national and international ophthalmic journals, 4070 books on ophthalmology and several books on allied subjects, 300 audio and video cassettes on ophthalmic training, videos on surgical techniques and related procedures, and photocopies of instruction manuals of ophthalmic instruments.
Other facilities at the library include linguaphone, computers with internet facility, photocopier, and printer. Medline search is another feature of the library. It is also networked regularly with other libraries.
