A key component of LVPEI is development of human resources and the Institute is a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for training eye care professionals from all over the world.

Since its inception the Institute has trained over 8000 professionals in all subspecialties and across all functional levels. We continually upgrade our curriculum, teaching methodologies and materials, thus ensuring highly focused and up-to-date training programs. LVPEI uses cutting edge equipment and facilities so that eye care professionals imbibe the best training possible.
