Biography
Dr Sasi Bindu Thippana is an alumna of Kurnool Medical College, Andhra Pradesh, where she pursued her graduation and residency in ophthalmology. She followed that with her DNB Residency from Sankara Eye Hospital, Chennai. Later, she served as a senior resident at the Regional Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Kadapa.
She then worked at several private hospitals, including Global Lasik Centre in Hyderabad, before joining as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Cataract and Comprehensive Services at LVPEI’s Rajasekhara Reddy campus in Kadapa.
Dr Bindu is a life member of the Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmology Society (APOS) and the All India Ophthalmology Society (AIOS). Her areas of interest include creating awareness regarding eye health in remote areas and school children, refractive procedures, and ocular genetics.
During her free time, she loves travelling with her family and reading inspirational novels.
