Biography
Dr Shabtab Nasir has completed her primary medical education at the Government Medical College and Research Institute in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, followed by a DNB in Ophthalmology from Prabha Eye Hospital and Research Center in Bangalore, Karnataka.
She deepened her expertise through a long-term fellowship in uveitis and medical retina at LVPEI and is also a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). Before her current role at LVPEI, she served as a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Win Vision Eye Hospital in Hyderabad.
Dr. Nasir’s areas of interest include infectious and non-infectious uveitis, pediatric uveitis, and complex cataract surgeries. She has made significant contributions to the field through numerous national and international presentations, book chapters, and publications in esteemed international journals.
