Biography
Dr Smruti Rekha Priyadarshini completed her undergraduate medical training at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, followed by an MS in Ophthalmology from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur. She subsequently pursued a Fellowship in Cornea and Microsurgery at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, and later joined the Department of Cornea and Anterior Segment Services at the Mithu Tulsi Chanrai Campus, Bhubaneswar.
She further enhanced her expertise through a short-term fellowship in Dry Eye Disease at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. Her clinical and academic interests encompass corneal disorders, cataract and refractive surgery, and ocular surface diseases, with a particular focus on dry eye disease, ocular chemical injuries, and stem cell transplantation. Her work is centred on advancing patient care and research in the field of cornea and anterior segment disorders.
