Biography
Dr Sowmya Andole completed her medical education from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, followed by postgraduate training in Ophthalmology and Senior Residency in Glaucoma from Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital under Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. She then pursued her long-term fellowship in glaucoma at LVPEI before joining the Department of Glaucoma and Cataract Services.
She is a lifetime member of the Glaucoma Society of India (GSI). Her main areas of clinical interest are in the management of secondary glaucomas and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries. Her work has been presented at national conferences and published in international journals.
