Biography
Dr Indu Pavani Velamala completed her basic medical education at Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, Telangana, followed by postgraduate training in ophthalmology at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital under Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. She then pursued her long-term fellowship in glaucoma at LVPEI.
She is a lifetime member of the All India Ophthalmological Society(AIOS) and the Glaucoma Society of India(GSI). She has a keen interest in research and academics, especially in types of secondary glaucoma, pediatric glaucoma, and ocular genetics. She has presented at various national conferences and published in international journals.
