Biography
Madhukuri Sitaramanjaneyulu completed his Vision Technician course from LVPEI’s Bausch & Lomb School of Optometry in 2002, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmic Techniques (DOT) from the Foundation of Ophthalmic & Optometry Research Education Centre (FOOREC). He graduated in Optometry from Chitkara University, Chandigarh, where he was honored with an award for academic excellence. He is a certified Ophthalmic Assistant from the International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO), USA.
He served at LVPEI’s Venkata Lakshmi Eye Centre, Karamchedu, for seven years before joining the Smt. Kanuri Santhamma Centre for Vitreo-Retinal Diseases at the Kallam Anji Reddy Campus in Hyderabad. Currently, he is in charge of the Vision Technician and Diploma in Ophthalmic Techniques program, a faculty member at Brien Holden Institute of Optometry & Vision Sciences (BHIOVS), and an optometry consultant in LVPEI’s refractive clinics.
His areas of interest include clinical optometry, ocular anatomy & physiology, ocular diseases, and optics & refraction.
