Biography
Saumya Ranjan Parida pursued his Bachelor’s degree in optometry from LVPEI in Bhubaneswar, followed by a short-term fellowship program in pediatric, strabismus, and neuro-optometry at LVPEI in Hyderabad. He also completed a Genetic Educator Training course from UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and his Master’s degree in optometry from Singhania University.
He is involved in numerous research activities and has participated in various workshops and national conferences. He actively participates as a teaching faculty for optometry interns and other ongoing educational programs at the Mithu Tulsi Chanrai campus in Bhubaneswar. He has a keen interest in basic research, and his clinical focus lies in managing accommodative strabismus and clinical optometry. His core areas of interest include pediatric optometry, amblyopia, binocular vision, and orthoptics.
