Biography
Dr Srikanta Kumar Padhy completed his ophthalmology residency training from the prestigious Dr Rajendra Prasad Center for Ophthalmology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Subsequently, he did a research observership at AIIMS, under the guidance of Professor Atul Kumar. He later pursued a two-year fellowship in vitreoretina, uvea, and retinopathy of prematurity from LVPEI.
His main areas of interest are complex vitreoretinal surgeries, inherited retinal disorders, retinal vascular diseases, and ocular trauma. Keenly interested in research, he has published over 50 articles in various national and international peer-reviewed journals.
When he is not working, Dr Padhy loves to spend time with his family, and indulging in cooking, reading novels, and watching sports.
