Whitathon is an initiative by L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) to raise awareness and funds for the treatment of eye cancer in poor children. The first edition of the run, held in May 2018, was a great success. Of 1798 treatments for retinoblastoma eye cancer, 1147 (64%) were treated at no cost, thanks to the funds raised through Whitathon 2018. We are confident that together we will make Whitathon 2019, held on 19th May, much bigger and better, thus impacting the lives of many more children. Click here to know more
