During her visit to LVPEI Vijayawada for eye treatment, Kaziah found the patient care counsellors to be highly impressive and dreamt of being part of their team. She had no major work experience and qualification but was willing to work hard and learn. It was the same time that LVPEI was starting an exclusive three-month training program aimed at creating a strong workforce of Patient Care Counsellors for the Institute.
“I was unable to study beyond intermediate due to family constraints. My joy knew no bounds when I was selected for this training that took place at Hyderabad. Right from proper etiquette in interacting with people to overall personality development, I was trained in many aspects. This year has been a new beginning for me and my family. On 1st January, I joined the patient care team at LVPEI Vijayawada. I am happy that now I am not only working for an Institute whose values I strongly believe in, but will also be able to provide better education opportunities to my younger siblings,” says Kaziah.
