The 54th edition of LVPEI's most successful and longest-running education program 'Indian Contact Lens Education Program' was organized at the Institute's Hyderabad campus from 16-18 November 2018. A diverse group of 135 delegates comprising optometry students, practitioners, ophthalmology residents and ophthalmologists attended the event. The key highlights were the didactic lectures, hands-on and interactive sessions, instruction courses and live demonstrations covering all aspects of contact lenses. In addition to LVPEI faculty, the program also had 6 guest faculty, including one from BostonSight Foundation, Boston, USA. A pre-conference workshop on LVPEI BostonSight Scleral Lens was organized on 16 November 2018.
