To mark the 13th Foundation Day celebrations of LVPEI’s Mithu Tulsi Chanrai Campus in Bhubaneswar the Ninth Bijayananda Patnaik Memorial Lecture was held on 16 January 2019. It was delivered by Prof Akhila Bihari Ota, Special Secretary cum Director; SCSTRTI* and Tribal Advisor to Govt. of Odisha on the topic ‘Is The Tribal Society of Odisha on a Transformative mode?’. The memorial lecture plaque was presented to Prof Ota by one of LVPEI’s key supporters, Dr Kalsi Patnaik, wife of Late Dr Bijayanada Patnaik. The evening concluded with a special dance performance by a group of children from Ashrams in Odisha and a cultural performance by the campus team.
