The 11th Eye PEP, Postgraduate Education Program in Ophthalmology, was organized at LVPEI’s Hyderabad campus from 7-13 October 2018. The program was attended by 172 students from across the country, with 7 participants benefitting via our newly-introduced Webinar feature. The highlights of the program were hands-on sessions in cornea, glaucoma, retina, paediatrics and oculoplasty; interactive sessions on clinical and surgical pearls, grand rounds, 3D show, quiz competition, and singing and shaking a leg during the entertainment session; and finally, an exclusive session by Dr V R Vijaya Raghavan, Former Head of Ophthalmology, Coimbatore Medical College, and currently visiting faculty at LVPEI, providing students much-needed orientation on how to ace the examinations.
