Developed by the LVPEI's Institute for Vision Rehabilitation in collaboration with Techsopy, 'Helping Hands' App was formally launched on 27 October 2018. The application that can be downloaded from google play store, will help connect visually impaired people with volunteers who are willing to assist them in travelling, shopping, paper work, recreational activities and other similar tasks. The launch coincided with the annual volunteers' meet and concluded with a spectacular fancy dress performance from the children availing early intervention services at the Institute.
