To sensitize the parents and ASHA workers on the importance of annual eye screening for children, the Vision Technicians and Vision Centre Coordinators participated in the Pulse Polio camps that were organized on 10 March 2019. A basic torch light examination was performed on the children and those identified with eye problems were referred for a detailed eye examination at the vision centres. These are in lines with LVPEI's constant endeavour to prevent needless blindness by increasing awareness about good eye care practices.
