On 15th January 2026, Dr Sanghamitra Pati, Additional Director General, ICMR, and Director, ICMR–RMRC, Bhubaneswar, delivered the 16th Bijayananda Patnaik Memorial Lecture on the topic 'National One Health Mission.
The lecture was attended by over 350 participants, reflecting wide interest in the subject. On this occasion, Dr Pati adopted a tree on the campus as a meaningful gesture towards environmental sustainability, and an honorary plaque was presented to her in recognition of her distinguished contributions and leadership in the field of health research.
