On the occasion of LVPEI's 35th Foundation Day, an ideation workshop was organized for LVPEI executives to brainstorm on ideas that could help serve our patients and communities better. The brief event that followed had Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, a physician by training, a former officer from the Indian Administrative Services, and Founder of the Lok Satta Party, as the Chief Guest for the day. He delivered a scintillating lecture on the current healthcare scenario, the abundance of possibilities and opportunities available at our disposal to do better and bring about a positive change. Another important segment of the celebration was the institution of Prof Krothapalli Ravindranath LVPEI Research Excellence Award (courtesy support received from Prof Krothapalli Ravindranath). The award was presented to Pratima Vishwakarma (she will now be designated Chief Clinical Research Fellow) and Sushma Vishwakarma (she will be now designated Chief Basic Science Research Fellow).
