At the 39th Odisha State Ophthalmological Society conference (OSOCON) held at Sambalpur, LVPEI faculty members received various awards:
- Dr Niroj Kumar Sahoo was part of the team that won Ophthalmic Premier League
- Dr Umesh Chandra Behera recieved Prof Dr Udhab Charan Behera and Prof Dr Gunasagar Dash Oration Award (for innovation)
- Dr Srikanta Kumar Sahoo Dr IM Sahu Award (in Cornea) Prof Dr K C Mohanty (Best Paper Award)
