A Centre of Excellence focusing on innovative programs for the visually impaired in the areas of Low Cost Assistive Technology, Device Fund, Training and Research will be established at LVPEI Hyderabad in collaboration with Vision-Aid. The centre is supported by Palakurthi Foundation of Massachusetts, USA a philanthropic foundation created by Anuradha and Prashanth Palakurthi of Weston, MA. The Center will be named as the “Vasantha-Krupa Palakurthi Vision-Aid Center of Excellence”.
