Advancing Ophthalmology: Insights from 'The Future is Here' Conference

The Prof Brien Holden Eye Research Centre at LVPEI organized the 'The Future is Here' conference, convening over 150 global scientists and experts to discuss cutting-edge research in ophthalmology, covering cell therapy, gene therapy, and biomaterials.

Topics included new treatment modalities, diagnostic tools, clinical trial guidelines, and collaborative efforts against prevalent eye disorders. The event offered crucial insights into current ophthalmological research, impacting clinical practices and fostering potential collaborations. We extend sincere thanks to all participants for their contributions—special gratitude to the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, for funding this conference.
