Cognizant Foundation has pledged to support LVPEI's Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) program in 19 districts of the states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The duration of this program which will be implemented at the district level is for two years and it will save premature babies from incurable blindness. An MoU to formalize this partnership was signed between LVPEI and board members of the foundation on 20 September 2019.
