Dr Inderjeet Kaur, Scientist at the LVPEI Kallam Anji Reddy Molecular Genetics Laboratory was elected as the Chair for the Diversity Initiatives Committee (DIC) at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
Dr Inderjeet’s term of service will run from May 2026 - May 2027.
The Diversity Initiatives Committee (DIC) works to identify and address barriers to full participation for ARVO members across all backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, women, and members with disabilities. The committee develops initiatives to promote inclusion and equity within ARVO and advises the organization on responsive actions.
