Dr Vijaya Gothwal, Head - Outcomes Research Unit, LVPEI, India, has been listed among the 'Global Optometrist Top 200 Research Ranking'. This ranking was done to identify and celebrate world leaders in optometric research and are leading the profession by way of published research. While there are 3 other Indians on the list (who work outside India), there is only one optometrist, Vijaya Gothwal, who made it to this elite list through her work in India.
