Dr Vishal Raval, Consultant Ophthalmologist for Vitreo-Retinal Diseases and Ocular Oncology at LVPEI, has been awarded the Best Poster award at the 18th Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society (APVRS) Congress, held on December 12-14, 2025, in Manila, the Philippines.
Dr Raval received the accolade for his poster titled ‘Ophthalmic manifestations and treatment outcomes in leukemia: A comparative analysis of clinical spectrum, visual prognosis, and predictors of disease remission across subtypes.’
With the theme of ‘Retina 360,’ the Congress, held in conjunction with the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Congress (PAO), brought together leading vitreoretinal researchers, experts, and practitioners to highlight innovations, share insights, and foster collaboration in the field.
