Eye on the Future 2020, focusing on 'Complex Strabismus' was organized at LVPEI's Hyderabad campus from 11-12 January 2020. It was attended by 78 delegates and in addition to LVPEI faculty, had many other eminent national and international pediatric ophthalmologists as guest faculty. The CME primarily focused on (a) Various aspects of Congenital Cranial Dysinnervation Disorders (CCDD), especially Duane Syndrome (DS) and Congenital Fibrosis of the Extraocular Muscles (CFEOM) (b) Management of consecutive strabismus and complications (c) Advanced discussions on Brown syndrome, Intermittent exotropia and other complex scenarios and (d) VAST (Video Assisted Skill Transfer) session on complex strabismus surgeries.
