The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, inaugurated the Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy (Dr YSRR) Campus at Kadapa, YSR District. Also present on the occasion was Ms Vidadala Rajini, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. We extend our gratitude to Mr B K Venkatesh, Head of Operations (South) and Program Head, Environment and Ecology, and Ms Sirisha, Project Manager – Andhra Pradesh, both from ICICI Foundation, as well as Mr Sabitra Kundu, Head of Program Development and Mr D Jaikumar, Senior Manager – Program Development from Mission for Vision, India, for gracing the occasion with their presence.
The Dr YSRR Campus is LVPEI's third tertiary centre in Andhra Pradesh and the fourth in the entire network. Spread over 66,600 square feet, this centre has 40 examination rooms and four modern operating rooms. With a well-trained team of 60+ clinical and non-clinical staff, mostly from the local community, the Dr YSRR Campus is fully equipped to provide high-quality, comprehensive eye care services to people from the YSR district and beyond. The campus is designed to be energy-efficient, sustainable, and green and has been developed in adherence to Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) regulations.
