A two-day Interdisciplinary Interprofessional (IDIP) training program was successfully conducted at the MTC Campus from March 26—27, 2026.
Led by Dr Avinash Pathengay along with his team members Jyotsna Kala and Jaya Lakshmi from the GMR Varalakshmi Campus in Visakhapatnam, the program’s objective was to develop a core group of trained staff members, who would cascade the IDIP learning down by training additional team members and eventually bringing the entire LVPEI staff and clinicians under the IDIP framework.
This initiative aims to significantly enhance the Patient Care Experience during the consolidation year (April 2026- March 2027). The sessions were engaging and impactful, with strong emphasis on concept clarity and real-life application. The workshop is expected to meaningfully strengthen team collaboration and improve patient care at MTC Campus.
