As part of the Indian School of Business's (ISB) Expository Learning initiative, 50 students from their Post Graduate Programme in Management visited the L V Prasad Eye Institute’s Quaternary Centre at the Kallam Anji Reddy campus in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
The visit included a presentation on LVPEI’s innovative models in eye care delivery, a guided tour of the Institute’s advanced facilities, and an interactive session with Dr Merle Fernandes, Campus Director. ISB students discovered how a donor-backed, cross-subsidy model enables world-class eye care for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
Curious and full of questions, they explored how compassion and sustainability come together in LVPEI’s model, and what it takes to make equitable health care a reality.
