The LVPEI–Liberia Eye Center at JFK Medical Center, Monrovia, joined the global celebration of World Sight Day under the theme 'Love Your Eyes' on October 9, 2025. The event focused on raising awareness about preventive eye care and the importance of regular check-ups.
Visitors received educational materials on healthy lifestyle practices such as avoiding smoking, eating nutritious foods, exercising, and using protective eyewear. The team also showcased the center’s full spectrum of services, including retina, glaucoma, cataract, pediatric ophthalmology, and community outreach.
