The Standard Chartered - LVPEI Academy for Eye Care Education held the 3rd Eye Trauma Workshop from January 17-18, 2026, at the LVPEI Kode Venkatadri Chowdary campus in Vijayawada.
The two-day event began with a wet lab training session, where participants practiced suturing under the guidance of LVPEI faculty. The second day included an academic program with talks and interactive sessions by national and international faculty, providing insights into ophthalmic trauma care.
The event brought together 62 participants, including 30 external delegates, 10 fellows, and 22 faculty members! It received highly positive feedback from the attendees, highlighting its impact on enhancing their skills in trauma care.
