OM (Order of Magnitude) a product by LVPEI’s Centre for Innovation has won the Nasscom Tech4Good Healthcare prize. An intelligent clinical vision screening device, it uses virtual reality (VR) as a medium to perform vision assessment and can identify more than 60% of the common causes of avoidable blindness. It is 10X faster and 20X less expensive than the normal Humphrey Field Analyser (a tool used for measuring the human visual field).
