Pashyantu - a mobile eye diagnostic van, was launched in October 2019, to bring high-end eye diagnostic facility for screening complicated eye conditions such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy in the purview of secondary centres. Manned by specialists, it periodically visits the LVPEI secondary centres. Currently, this service is available at all the four secondary centres in Odisha - courtesy Odisha Mining Corporation Limited, and in five of the centres in Andhra Pradesh. Over 3200 people have benefited from it till date.
