The Standard Chartered - LVPEI Academy for Eye Care Education successfully concluded the Uveitis 3.0 Online Subspeciality Program, the flagship long-duration event. The 12-month program featured clinically focused modules covering the full spectrum of uveitis, including anterior, intermediate, infectious, and non-infectious posterior uveitis, vasculitis, scleritis, cataract in uveitis, imaging, and rheumatology interfaces. It incorporated preparatory reading, interactive case-based discussions, special interest group meetings, and national/international grand rounds, with a strong emphasis on clinical decision making in real-world scenarios.
The Uveitis 3.0 Online Subspeciality Program held from January 2025 to January 2026, and led by Dr Anup Kelgaonkar, stands as the highest‑enrolled long‑running online subspecialty program from LVPEI, with more than 380 participants across India and abroad. Participants included residents, fellows, and early to mid-career practitioners in India and abroad, expanding LVPEI’s training footprint in uveitis across the world.
