The 45th Low Vision Awareness Program (LAP), held on September 19–20, 2025, featured excellent participation with 120 delegates and 23 speakers!

As LVPEI's flagship event, LAP continues to provide a platform for sharing essential knowledge and best practices in the field of low vision rehabilitation.

The program focused on helping clinicians and rehabilitation professionals recognise and respond effectively to individuals with vision impairment. The 45th edition covered key areas of low vision care, including early identification, comprehensive assessment, assistive technology, integration into various levels of eye care, and rehabilitation care for individuals with additional delays/disabilities. Delegates also benefited from panel discussions, hands-on sessions, scientific paper/poster presentations, highlighting the latest developments and practical insights in the field.
