A team of 35 students from the UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Executive MBA program visited the L V Prasad Eye Institute’s Quaternary Eye Care Institute at the Kallam Anji Reddy campus in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on December 19, 2025.
The visit, a part of their ‘Global Immersion Initiative’, included a deep dive into LVPEI’s innovative models in eye care delivery, a guided tour of the Institute’s advanced facilities.
The visit ended with an interactive session with Dr Rajeev Reddy Pappuru, the Vice Chair at LVPEI who delved into the pyramidal model of care and how LVPEI’s cross-subsidization model has helped ensure world-class eye care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
